As I was listening to my music playlist on my Samsung Ace 2 and iTunes, I browsed some of my NEWLY FAVORITE songs that I think has made my day a little bit more vibrant, wanna know mmy top 5 song list this week?? Let's have a countdown from number 5!!!
5. COKE BOTTLE - Agnez Mo Feat. Timbaland & T.I
The moment this song hit iTunes last year, I went on to download and heck yeah, I am not disappointed. The beat is fly and she's rocketing to the sky. With the maestro Timbaland play his instruments and some killer rap verse from T.I., this song makes a perfect debut single for this miss thing. Mo, rocks the swag to this Hip-Hop R&B track and it deserves the hit on the charts. All I want for her to do, is to show those routine to the stage, televised for the US to see how talented our girl from Indonesia is. I'm waiting for the killer moves and swag when the video drops sometime this year, Mo!! *sips juice
"I'm only human... I bleed when I fall down. I'm only human, I crash when I break down. The words on in head, knives in my heart. You build me up when I fall apart. I'm only human...". Sounds familiar? Yes, It is one of the emotions that we wanna show people that no matter how perfect people wants us to be, we're only human. We have feelings, we can break down and Christina Perri brings that emotions with beautifully arranged lyrics. The music video has just been released and the bionic theme while keeping it simple and pretty is definitely a great road to see what's in store for her new album "Head or Heart" when it drops on March 2014. PS, I love her new look for this era. Simple but really classy.
I have been in love with Beyonce since 2003 and still going to be one of her biggest fan for my 10 years to come. She is a diva extraordinaire. With the surprise self-tited album release back in December, she has been atop of Billboard for 3 weeks now, making it her longest running #1 album, and also her fifth overall album. With "XO" and "Drunk in Love" being released already as the first two singles, Partition is a two-part track, with the hard hitting intro of "Yonce" in the beginning and it's winning! I love the overall beat and the fact that Beyonce sang the song confidently now more than ever. The highly sexual show is also sexy yet artistic kind of way, but I won't recommend it for teens because she showed skin like... quite a lot.. What attracts me into the song is the beat and how the lyrics are freestyle, which has been great for this era. It brings out the creativity and freedom like she always wants. Go Bey!!
I don't know about her until I watched her talk show "The Real" two months ago. She's a real girl that has a great personality. I love her talking her mind, how she handles different problems on her reality show "Tamar & Vince", but I gotta give this girl kudos for bringing some great R&B tracks on her debut album "Love & War". With most of the songs on the album, are the mid-tempos and mellows, "Hot Sugar" is one of the uptempo tracks that showcases her attitude and has all Tamar stamps over this cool beat to pop it like it's hot. It's also one of the "Tamartians - her fan base" favorites alongside the other album track "All the Way Home". Get ready to Pop IT!!
It's this song that makes me jamming and singing. Tamar has the soul and call me a bit late, but I just love this song now. No wonder it's number one on iTunes hours after its release last year. The old school vibe and the soul voice that she has really fit together with the song's theme on relationship. The sisster of Toni Braxton proved that she can also put a singer status that she always wanted people to acknowledge as. The song has been on repeat and has made it to the top of this week's list.
